Katie-Fly flies again

Katie-Fly is an 11-year-old Boykin Spaniel. Owner Carol Endicott says, "At age 10, she regularly accompanied me on long hikes, 20-mile skis, and long runs.
She was experiencing some difficulty jumping up, so I brought her to Darcy, for what Darcy called her middle-age tune-up. She prescribed several stretches and massages, which greatly improved her range of motion and flexibility. At one point, she developed a knot in her shoulder, which disappeared with one dry needling treatment. In August of 2016, she tore her carpal tendons. She was in a cast for 2 months, and although her tendons shortened and healed, the vet had low expectations for the level of activity she would regain.
Another visit to Darcy, who prescribed more massage and stretches and a carpal brace, and she's back in the game. She's as active as ever and has a spring in her step." Thanks for sharing Katie Fly's story, Carol!
